Absinthe, absinthe .... what the heck is absinthe?
Oh, you don't want to know. It involves alcohol and wormwood and a variety of other herbs. The Czech variety will send one distantly 'round the bend ... believe me ... I know. The latest varieties, freshly allowed for the first time in years in the U.S., pale in comparison as to potency, but are, undoubtedly, more flavorful. Oh, that flavor! It shall never pass my lips again. In either direction!
